Special Updates In Tibet

Since 2008, the official policies of some Chinese officials concerning Tibet and the Tibetans has apparently not changed much. Still, we who do human rights work for the Tibetans are hopeful that one day much will change, and perhaps the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans who wish to do so will be able to return to Tibet to live. The Dalai Lama is frequently asked if he thinks it is possible that he/the Tibetans will be able to return to Tibet, and he always answers emphatically that he believes this can happen. If we look at many situations around the world which once appeared unresolvable which eventually did change to something better (sometimes suddenly), we realize that in our reality there is always the possibility that such unexpected yet hoped-for changed can occur. The Berlin Wall came down without a shot being fired, ostensibly due to behind-the-scenes arrangements. We hope that all the people involved in the "Tibet situation" some day will be able to enjoy and respect each other once again and share all that is good in life.
